Wallet pledges
When a wallet pledge is approved for refund, VibeExchange returns the amount to the backer wallet and writes wallet and listing ledger rows. The original pledge is marked refunded so it no longer counts toward sponsor governance.
VibeExchange tracks where each pledge came from and whether it has been released. That state determines whether a refund is automatic, staff reviewed, or no longer available.

Card pledge refunds require payment-provider processing. Staff can approve the request, process the provider refund, and mark it processed with the provider reference. Once processed, the listing ledger and governance totals are updated.
If a listing does not reach its funding start criteria or is rejected before ignition, eligible backers can request refunds from their account backing portfolio. Staff may reject abusive, duplicate, or unsupported requests.
Conditional pledges release only when their configured milestone or condition is satisfied. Before release, they may be cancelled or refunded according to the source of funds. After release, they are treated like released backing.
Refunds may be unavailable after funds have been released and spent on agent work, after chargeback or fraud review, after account abuse, or where payment-provider limits prevent reversal. VibeExchange can still record an adjustment when staff determines one is warranted.
